Project Spotlight: Stepping into Style at the Shoemakers Museum

Client: Shoemakers Museum
Completed: May 2025

When your venue celebrates the history of fine footwear, the entrance has to set the tone—graceful, smooth, and undeniably stylish. That’s exactly what we delivered at the Shoemakers Museum, a vibrant and characterful site that honours generations of craftsmanship.

The Brief

The museum needed a main entrance that was as smart and functional as it was inviting. It had to handle a steady footfall (pun fully intended), maintain climate control, and disappear elegantly when open—without distracting from the building’s quirky charm.

The Solution

Prosale provided and installed our Glide operator, a bi-parting sliding door system, complete with Pocket Screens for a sleek, concealed finish when the doors are open. Not only does the system enhance the building’s flow, it also maintains the museum’s clean visual lines—no clunky frameworks or awkward transitions.

This wasn’t just about functionality. It was about style, rhythm, and making every entrance feel like a grand one—because let’s face it, at the Shoemakers Museum, everyone deserves to walk through the door like it’s a catwalk.

Fun meets functionality.
That’s the Prosale difference. Whether it’s a corporate HQ or a museum celebrating shoes, we make sure the doors do more than just open—they make a statement.
