Mike Meet the Team

Meet the Team: Mike Coggins

For this Month’s Meet the Team, our resident Superhero has swooped in, Batma- I mean Mike Coggins.

1. How long have you worked for Prosale?
I have been here since Inception (yeah its my fault…), we are 20 years young this year.

2. What’s a skill you’ve picked up here that you didn’t expect to use?
Something unexpected is being in any way involved (very small amount) in social media. Things like this are foreign to me, but I’ve enjoyed the odd stumble into it.

3. Is there a hobby or interest you think helps you in your job?
I like Chess and think there are times that patience in this industry is a virtue.

4. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of Prosale I love spending time with my immediate family, watch a bit of Rugby and the odd game of chess.

5. What’s something not many people know about you?
What’s something people wouldn’t know about me, I think I’m a bit of an open book really. If I hold my nose and blow hard enough, I can blow air out of my right eye?

6. How has Prosale changed or evolved since you started?
Massively, we started as a sales agent for Boon Edam and record. After 2 years we realised that no one in the auto door business seemed to put the customer first. In 2007 we created an operational company with the idea of taking the headache out of automatic doors for our customers. That will never change.

7. What does a typical day look like for you?
My working day at Prosale varies as I could be out meeting our customers or in the office. Office time is spent mainly coaching the leadership team or strategising – oh and making a round of coffees, occasionally.

8. What’s the most exciting project you’ve worked on recently?
One of my favourite projects we have worked on is Twickenham Stadium. Loved being able to have lots of operators there.

9. If you had to describe the team at Prosale in three words, what would they be?
Prosale in 3 words would be Professional, Dependable and Fun

10. What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Relationships, whether its our customers (some of which I have known personally for over twenty years) or our team, seeing them grow is rewarding too.

11. What’s your ultimate dream project you’d love Prosale to work on?
I loved the fact we have installed at Twickenham Rugby Ground. I still pinch myself with the projects we have done. London projects like the Shard or Walkie Talkie building to Old Trafford (I believe that’s a football stadium).

12. If Prosale had a mascot, what would it be and why?
If Prosale had a mascot it would have to be a sunburnt Panda and the reasons are Prosale colours (hence sunburnt), they’re batsh*t crazy and loveable.

(Once again I’ve been given an AI Mascot to demonstrate – they’re really loving this.)
